Eye trauma

Abstract

Basic assessment and treatment of eye injuries is within the scope of a general practitioner. Whilst Chemical splash remains the most urgent of eye injuries to deal with, injuries to the cornea from machinery are much more common. Eye examination of children requires patience and technique but should not be neglected.
